Terms of Service
Last updated: May 14, 2026
Slow Pour (“Slow Pour,” “we,” “us”) is an AI-powered platform that helps bars and restaurants fill empty seats during slow hours by alerting nearby locals to real-time deals. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
Who we are, what we do
Slow Pour is a software tool. We do not own the bars, set the menu, or pour the drink. Deals are offered by the venue. Slow Pour is a messenger and a measurement tool — the venue is the merchant.
AI disclosure
Push notifications, deal copy, slow-window predictions, and personalized deal ranking are generated by AI (currently Anthropic Claude). AI output may be inaccurate or unexpected. Venue owners can override or end every deal before or while it’s live. The AI cannot set prices, terms, or fulfillment rules — those are set by the venue.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Slow Pour. Some deals involve alcohol; redeeming those requires legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21+ in the United States) and a valid government ID at the venue.
Owner responsibilities
- You’re responsible for honoring deals that activate within your defined rules. If you don’t want a particular deal to fire, pause Auto-Pilot or adjust your max-discount cap.
- You’re responsible for legal compliance — drink specials must comply with your state’s liquor authority (e.g. TABC in Texas), happy-hour rules, and any local minimum-pricing laws.
- You can’t use Slow Pour to discriminate, deceive customers, or run deals you can’t actually fulfill.
Consumer responsibilities
- Deals are intended for the named venue, in person, during the live window. Reselling redemption codes or scraping the feed is prohibited.
- If a deal is unclear, ask the venue staff. They have final say on what’s included.
- Drink responsibly. If you’ve been drinking, don’t drive. Slow Pour is not liable for what happens after you redeem a deal.
Billing (owners)
Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. New subscriptions get a 14-day free trial; we start charging the day the trial ends. Cancel anytime via the billing portal — access continues through the end of the current paid period. Refunds: we issue refunds for billing errors and double-charges. Other refund requests are case-by-case.
Notifications
By signing up you consent to receive transactional email (account confirmation, billing receipts, weekly owner digests). Push and SMS notifications are opt-in — you control them from your profile. SMS users can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the service except via our APIs with our consent.
- Resell deal codes, redemption tokens, or any part of the service.
- Misrepresent your identity, role, or affiliation.
- Interfere with the service’s normal operation (e.g. spam pushes, fake redemptions).
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.
Disclaimers
Slow Pour is provided on an “as is” basis. We don’t guarantee the AI predictions are accurate, that every venue will honor every deal, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slow Pour’s total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or $50 if you’re a free user). We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime from your profile. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Section “Disclaimers” and “Limitation of liability” survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get an email and a fresh “Last updated” date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
